The day before New Years Eve and I have something to say...

Yesterday I could not stop smiling. It was snowing, and I loved it.

Actually, it was windy and cold up top, but raining down in town. But 9 inches of new snow, I was having lots of fun!

Without a doubt, Telluride is my favorite place I have EVER lived. Granite, I am on vacation at the moment, and on “occasion” enjoy a little bit of the malt beverage, but I have never felt at “home” as I do here.

Many thanks to all that made this possible,
and Happy New Year!!!!!

SkierCross at Telluride

Taken from Telluride Daily Planet
"Skiercross is an aggressive, fast race in which four skiers fight elbow to elbow, with the first skier to the bottom winning. After a mass start, the skiers reach speeds of 60 mph while maneuvering banked turns and drops along the course. After three elimination rounds, the final round will determine the overall winner and the event's fastest skier."

It was down right CRAZY!!!!
