Salsa "The Boxer"

The other day, I was doing research on Final Cut Pro, when I thought I would look back at what I had done on iMovie and iDVD.

I fixed the rotation problem with the original Salsa "The Boxer" movie.
Enjoy....

Evening hike up to Station St. Sophia (aka top of the gondola)

Looking up to our destination. Doesn't look "that" far, but it 1780 feet up.

The San Miguel is a little full from all the warm weather.

Seasonal creak at the bottom of Telluride Trail. Mary Dawn is telling the dogs to get some water for the big hike up the hill.

Hiking straight up the Coonskin "Black" Run

Looking down on the town of Telluride from the top of the Milk Run

Dallas Peak as seen from the top of the Milk Run

So what is on YOUR fridge???

So I was sitting on the kitchen floor. Don't ask why.

The fridge took on a different look. But really, it was the same fridge, just looked different.

However, at that time I really took noticed of the beauty of it, and all the love that went in to it. :)
This is ours....

So what is on YOUR fridge?

That time of year...

Yep it is that time of year again. FESTIVAL Time in Telluride.

Last weekend (Memorial Day) was Mountain Film Festival. This is one of my favorite festivals. It really makes you look deep into what is going on in the world and look deep into what drives people and more importantly what drives yourself. For a quick movie of what Mountain Film is click here.

Mary Dawn and Alpen Schatz was a Camp 1 sponsor of Mountain Film this year, so we got 2 free passes. Thanks Mary Dawn.

So, I calculated the number of hours I watched film (and discussions) over that 3 day weekend.
23 hours and 20 minutes. That is almost one full 24 hour day. Wow.

Some (ok most) of my favorite films won awards. Click here for the full list. I can't wait until Edge of Eden: Living with Grizzlies comes out on DVD. I will buy it for sure. BTW: It got best of Show for good reason.

Anyway, if you have not gone to Mountain Film Festival in Telluride, I HIGHLY recommend it.

Now if only I could do/practice half of the things I learnt in the film, I will be very happy.

Full Moon Hike of the Jud Weibe

Mary Dawn and I hiked the Jud Weibe the other day during a full moon.

Here is the full moon rising over the town of Telluride.

Self portrait picture.

It was so bright, that we use natural light for the whole hike, and did not turn on our headlamps.

Lots of fun....
