My new favorite cereal...

There is a reason why some of my friends call me berry boy. No, not because I am "fruity", but I have a thing for Blueberrys. Anyway, this cereal was an impulse buy. When I had some this morning, I thought, hmmmm, this is really good.

Ok, slow day in the blog world.

Marvin (The Marmot) never looked so good!

Oh yeah!!!
I got my 24 inch Flat Wide Screen Panel from Dell today.

Marvin was chosen to do the honors of showing it off. Very cool....

Also being shown off is all the finger prints on my laptop.

But anyway this thing is awesome!

My "big" 21" CRT monitor is put on hold until I get another video card that can support dual monitors.

very nice.....

On Fire!!!

This past weekend I was on telemark skis for the very first time here at Telluride.

I took a morning clinic both days and had a blast.

Yes, I am a little sore today, but I probably would have been just as sore on Alpine skis.

Anyway, with a whopping 17 inch base (now 22) and 2 runs open, I am glad for a change of pace.

THINK SNOW!!!

New Blog Mission Statement

Hello all!

Ok, so I have decided to use this blog more as a blog, and not as a picture gallery. My new picture gallery will be posted sometime this week on smugmug.com (GREAT Service, and will be a blogged at a later date).

My Blog Mission Statement.
Blog the things I am most passionate about in a fun, informative, interesting and sometimes CRAZY way.

Future Blog Topics:

Skiing/Riding/Free-heel (Think Snow)
Bars/Drinking (and the results from it)
Techie stuff (Geek on)
Events (things I want to promote)
"#$%@!#^" (Rants)
I might even throw in a few entries about the opposite sex (no one reads blogs in Telluride, so I think am safe????)

The following two days in Arches National Park were incredible. For me it was one of the most see places.
Enjoy...

On my to the Arches National Park entrance, I took these photos of the Colorado River in the morning.

Fins in Devils Garden

Sometimes Love can be a little prickly

Towering Fins in Devils Garden

The lighting in Arches National Park is very dramatic.

There were tons of these little guys.

This is actually the primitive Loop trail in Devils garden that goes goes over lots of these fins.

At first I thought this was in the Fiery Furnace, but it is in Devils Garden.

One of the many narrow parts of the Ranger led trail thru the Fiery Furnace

As the story goes, a ranger looking for a route thru the Fiery Furnace, was surprised when he looked up and saw that he was under an arch.

Trees growing in "hole" on the way to the Delicate Arch. The opening is probably 100 feet or more across.
