The hike up Bear Creak to the falls is a wonderful 1 hour (one way) "stroll".
I decided I did not want to bring my Canon camera, and I tried using my camera on my Pocket PC. The pictures turned out better than expected.
I took my time and explored some of the side paths. Day was turning into dusk when I started back down. I was feeling good about things, when I looked up and I saw
A BEAR!!!!
It was a small black bear which quickly ran off at the sight of me. I guess that is why they call it Bear Creak.
Cool!!!
