Saturday morning, a bit hung over, I decided to head out of Telluride toward Dunton Colorado. From there I was going to backpack up to Navajo Lake.
It was probably one of the prettiest days of the 2005.
The hike up to Navajo Lake was a casual hike thru meadows and aspen groves. Very pretty. Then a significant elevation gain toward the end.
On the way home, I decided to make a loop and take Kilpatrick trail. What an interesting route.
Overall, it was a great overnighter, with great aspen driving on both ends.
