I was doing some research on Google, when I put in Telluride Shopping.
A site called 10Best, Trusted Advice for Travelers (http://www.10best.com/Telluride,CO/Shopping/) was the number one position.
I thought, hmmm, it must be good.
However, when I read "Visitors will be pleased to discover that shopping in Telluride can include stops by national chains for basics...", WHAT?
Anyone that has been to Telluride, knows there is NO national chains in Telluride. OK, Yes we have a Conoco outside of town, and maybe one can nit-pick a couple of others, but I vote for FAIL!
Anyway just trying to set it straight future Telluride shoppers and us locals who are proud of our uniqueness.
Screen print of the site.
I especially enjoy the mall bit. :)

Mike,
What a hoot! This site must use the same Fact Checker as Fox News!
How would Telluride even support a mall? What is the population of Telluride these days? About 2500? The town can’t be that big… based on the pix I have seen from you and others it can’t be more than a mile long and what a quarter-mile wide? It’s in a narrow valley floor.
I mean, I’ve never been there, but even I can spot that this article is probably wrong.
